We kinda look alike don't we?
Just put some blue eyes on me, and we resemble eachother I think. You know, as time passes, each kid goes through phases of looking like one of their parents. As I posted a while back, Noah looked like me in a scary way last Christmas. But now he gets a lot of comments about looking like his daddy. Wesley on the other hand has my eyes. No doubt about it. He has these huge round eyes.... and I had the same ones in baby pictures. They obviously stand out a lot more when you don't have much hair yet. But it's fun to see how it is physically obvious that your children have your genes. I was in the nursery today at church feeding Wesley, and my friend Cecil looked over and said, "It is amazing how much he looks like you." I was shocked. No one has said that yet. Everyone tends to say if he does or doesn't look like Noah. But nothing about Brian or me. So anyway, it was neat to hear that. I don't see it when I'm looking at him, but parents rarely see what others see. FYI---we are all doing great. Wesley is rolling across the room now. He is holding things and puts EVERYTHING in his mouth. I keep thinking a tooth is going to bust through, but I don't feel anything yet. Noah is still a sweetie. He has been testing us a lot more lately. He is on his way to being a real big boy (not just the kind you talk about when they get out of a crib)....and he knows it. He says things lately like, "Why are we talking about this?" and the other day was "Wesley.....ughhhh....come on dude!" It kills me. He wore a suit for the first time today. I'll post pictures. SO cute. Anyway, we're all doing well. God is active and merciful in our lives.

New pics of my boys
We are having a great time lately. The boys are playing more and more together. Noah is seriously the best brother ever. He makes Wesley laugh and smile all the time. He has not gotten jealous yet and simply adores his baby brother. We're gearing up for Halloween. More pictures on that soon. I love the fall weather and colors that are starting to show here in Texas. Both of the boys are in preschool and doing very well with that. Not much to report. Wesley is a little over five months. I'll have some stats next month when he goes in for his 6 mo checkup. For now, thank our Lord that they are happy, healthy, and a lot of fun!

4 months
Wesley turned 4 months one week ago. I cannot believe this time with him is going so fast. I don't remember it going fast with Noah. :) He is healthy and quite the talker. Might I say hollerer. He seriously yells allllllllllll the time. It's difficult to talk on the phone because he is jabbering so loud I can't hear anything the other person is saying. And he's pretty much that way all day long unless he's sleeping or eating. :) I guess he likes to talk like his mama. His 4 month stats were:
16lb 4 ounces
26 1/8 inches long
He is almost identical to Noah at 4 months except one ounce heavier. Amazing! And all along we've been thinking he was so much bigger than Noah. He's such a sweetie and I'm so thankful for him.
Happy 3rd birthday Noah!
Noah had his birthday party on Saturday the 8th. We had a fun in the sun party with various water activities. Everyone had fun. I can't believe my little baby is 3.

This is the signature Noah gesture. He constantly pushes his hair back (like a girl) behind his ears. It is so hilarious that my dad got this on camera.

Movin' along..........
Well, Wesley turned 8 weeks yesterday. And a lot has happened even in the last week or so! His acid reflux is SO MUCH better now that he is taking Prevacid twice a day. We really thank God that he is much more comfortable now. He has started smiling a ton this week. Papa and Nana Spicer are here from California and everytime Nana talks, he gets this huge smile on his face. I think he really likes her voice. He is starting to coo a ton which is so fun to hear. He is extremely expressive.......even more than Noah was. Not sure where he gets that from. Hmmmmm
He is learning how to sleep more without screaming his head off. Last night when we put him in his crib at about 9:30, he only cried for maybe 5 minutes and then was out like a light. WOO HOO!! That is a sheer miracle and only God could do that after many weeks of frustration on our part. We love him so much and can't stop kissing him. Noah is obviously still very taken with Wesley. He's a great helper and I know he can't wait to really play with him. That is only a few short months away as Wes learns to sit up. Noah is in a very lovey stage right now. He tells us maybe 10 times a day how much he loves us........just at spontaneous times. It's the greatest thing to hear. The funniest part is how he ends it.
Noah: "I love you mommy."
Me: "Thank you, Noah. I sure love you."
Noah: "Yes, I love Daddy, and Mommy, and Wesley. And I loooooove my self!"
