Sumo Wesley

So here are some more pictures of the CHUNKER!!!!!!! Wesley is seriously HUGE. He weighed in at 12lb 6oz today at 5.5 weeks! Holy cow. Noah was 13.3 at 8 weeks. I'm thinking Wes is going to clearly surpass him in the weight category. Here are a couple pics of his insane double chin. Brian think these pics are disgusting, but I strongly disagree. Come on.........he's a baby! It can't be gross right? ............Right????? :) Okay, so maybe his chin is a little out of control. Ha!

Simply an angel.......

Happy Father's Day!

My sweet boys on Father's Day. Noah and Wesley are very lucky boys to have such an awesome daddy.

Wesley's great grandma meeting him for the first time. He instantly fell asleep on her! It was adorable.
Noah chatting with his great grandma. It looks more like he's trying to scare her. :)
My grandma and grandpa (mom's parents) adoring Wesley on Father's Day. I was so glad they got to see him before he gets too big!

Catching up..............

Sorry pictures have been delayed lately. We've been working through strep, mastitus, strep-butt (strep infection on Wesley's butt), insane diaper rash, and acid reflux. Things have been rough! But not rough enough to keep from taking some dang cute pictures. :) Check em' out.

Our little soccer stud!

This is a cool soccer outfit passed down to Noah from his cousin, Payton. He LOVES to wear this. He can't wait to play soccer and baseball on a team when he gets bigger. :)

A much needed visit from Mee-Mah

Priceless.

Bath time with the boys!!

WHOA! A little cross-eyed here.

Happy Memorial Day!

We hope you all are having a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. Here are some more pics of the boys. Brian scanned these in so they aren't as clear as digital ones........but good enough. :)Remember to pray for our soldiers and their families this weekend and thank God for all those who have risked their lives to protect us and this country. It's so easy to forget how blessed we really are.

Two weeks old today!

Well, we just returned home from Wesley's 2 week checkup. He's gained a hearty amount of weight and now is 9lb 3oz (exactly Noah's birth weight at 40 weeks). Yesterday was Wesley's actual due date. He is looking great and it's hard to believe that 2 weeks from this very moment, I was in the operating room having him removed from my stomach. It's so strange. That really seems like yesterday.........I can't believe how fast the time is flying. I know that I'll blink and he'll be 6 months old. But I thank the Lord that this transition has been smooth and filled with so much joy. Noah is such a sweetie and I don't know where I'd be without all his help. I marvel at him daily as he approaches the big 3. All is well in mommyhood!

Week two!

Well, we're on to week 2 and things are going fairly smoothly. Wesley and I both are due for our 2 week check ups on Friday. He is already looking bigger to me. I'm anxious to see how much he weighs now. Wes is a really sweet boy and is very alert.........just like his brother was. He has two or three periods a day where he is awake for 1.5 to 2 hours each. Many think this is unusual for a 12 day old, but it is right on par with how Noah was. He is a great night time sleeper which has been awesome. Brian has been taking one of the feedings (hooray!) which tend to be either midnight or 3am. Not bad. Noah ADORES Wesley and truly hasn't shown a jealous bone yet. He kisses on him and just looks enamored with him. What a blessing! I really feel like I've been given the 2 sweetest boys in the world! Thank you God.

Who is this guy? What is my brother doing with a doll?
Sweet angel.
Noah serenading Wesley to sleep.

Slightly bug-eyed in this one, but oh so cute.

Easter Fun!

Noah's reaction to finding his Easter basket.
Total cheeseball.

Absolute doll in his Easter garb. I love this picture.
Noah's debut on Anna & Olivia Spivey's trampoline. He could not get enough!

LOVE THIS PICTURE. Check out the boy's hair. The static is unbelieveable.

Noah practicing his upcoming big brother skills on little Caroline. As you can tell by her stare, I think she adores Noah. I know that Noah adores her!!
